I recently upgrade my DNN install from 4.4 to 5.6.  Everything went fine however whenever I try to update the content of a module I get the following error upon hitting update.

Error: is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Method not found: 'System.String DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.SendNotification(System.String, System.String, System.String, System.String, System.String)'. ---> System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'System.String DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.SendNotification(System.String, System.String, System.String, System.String, System.String)'. at ContentManager.EditContent.NotifyByEmail(Int32 ContentID) at ContentManager.EditContent.cmdUpdate_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

The content does however update fine, so it is saving.  If it was just myself Id deal with the error since I can still do work, but we have other users who update their pages and it won't work well for them.

Any ideas?  Google didn't come up with anything.

The error appears to be coming from a rather old third-party module (perhaps Content Manager by Invenmanager.com) as the core method DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.SendNotification was deprecated late in the DNN 3.03.xx series then finally removed from code completely sometime around DNN 5.03.00.

If you need to continue using this module I would contact its developer to see if a version compatible with DotNetNuke 5.06.00 is available.
