Sandro,  No I don't believe you will lose all links etc.  Do a test on a lesser important portal.  Or do a test on a test page - that has images, documents, etc, on a test folder.  Then change the name of the folder.

IIRC, when I did the same, I was nicely surprised to find DNN fixed all the links so nothing was broken.  Isn't that the way it *should* work.  Don't you think *many* folk have done the same before you?  

So go ahead and test - I think you may be pleasantly surprised. :)

Links may be broken under 2 conditions: 1. if full path is stored and the file is moved 2. if file ID is stored and the file gets a new ID, e.g. because the indexer has no access to it on one run and removes it from the catalog - and re-adds it on the next run. The second case is the more difficult to fix, because you have no hint about the file name.

Thanks Duncan, i have obviously tested what i have describe.
I have in many case full path to image file, with homedir specified inside.

Good Day, i´m try to update DNN 5.5.1 to 5.5.6 and also i got 2 errors, one with telerik Exception information: Exception type: HttpException Exception message: Could not load file or assembly 'Telerik.Web.UI, Version=2010.2.713.35, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=121fae78165ba3d4' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) also with the core sitemap provider too..
