Upgrade from 5.5.1 to 5.6.0 went without error, and the upgrade log is empty which also indicates the upgrade went fine.  However, after upgrade from 5.5.1 to 5.6.0, the Telerik editor is not working.  I use Firefox 3.6.1.2 to maintain site, and I believe the HTML module ver 5.6.0 was installed with the upgrade.  When I edit an existing module, the content area does not display any text at all.  If I switch to Basic Text mode, the content is there, with html tags and all.  Switching back to Rich Text mode and no text displays.  The preview mode still shows all the formatted text, but the editor area is still blank.  Web.config shows these entries:

Found the issue: I have 2 sites with DNN, both at the same version, one I use as a test site and for evaluating upgrades, etc. The test site was working fine, so I investigated the Telerik folders and found that on the production site the Telerik provider had not been modified like it had been on the test site. I extracted the Telerik Module and Telerik Provider packages from the DNN 5.6.0 upgrade package, and installed both of them on the production site. That fixed the issue I was having. Note that the original upgrade did not report any error during the upgrade process, but obviously, it did not complete normally on 1 of the 2 sites I upgraded. Hope this helps others.

So about a year ago you fixed this issue. Can you explain a bit more about what you mean by you "extracted the Telerik Module and Telerik Provider packages from the DNN 5.6.0 upgrade package" ? Is this just a case of copying files? Did you need to reinstall an extension?

Thanks.
