We are attempting to upgrade from version 4.9.5 to 5.4.4 on a localhost install and are receiving a 404 error message when trying to bring up the following the url:  http://localhost/Install/Install.aspx?mode=Install

Any suggestions?  We can bring up the Under Construction page without issue.

Yes, we can see the file on the server.  We can access the under construction page.  The site also worked fine prior to applying the upgrade.

Thank you,

Janet

Update - We were able to get past the initial issue which ended up being related to our friendly url redirect module (Ifinity). However, the upgrade process generated several error messages (see below) and now we cannot get past the error generated below....

http://localhost/Default.aspx?error=Object+reference+not+set+to+an+instance+of+an+object.&content=0

Errors during upgrade:
HTML_04.09.05_INSTALL: ERROR
HTML_COMMUNITY_05.04.03_INSTALL: ERROR
LINKS_04.00.01_INSTALL: ERROR
MESSAGING_01.01.00_INSTALL: ERROR
TAXONOMY_01.01.00_INSTALL: ERROR

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate.

Thank you,

Janet

there should be no install of HTML 4.9.5 being triggered. However, you may install the same modules afterwards without issues from inside Host :: Extensions. You may need to extract the packages from /install/module folder of the zipped upgrade package.
