Just as a follow to my previous post.  I just rolled back to 5.6.2 and removed the telerik module without deleting files, I then ran the upgrade package and all completed without a hitch.

Hope helps
Craig

Well the final answer from DNN Tech Team is that there exists an easy fix, so they're not going to modify the upgrade package.

I guess we all just have to follow the instructions in the blog post if we have these issues.

Thanks for posting it Craig :)

We would never modify a package after it has been published. Trying to sort out sites with "5.6.3 original" from those with "5.6.3 new and improved" would be a horrible mess. The only way we would ever fix such a problem is with a 5.6.4 release. A 5.6.4 to fix this is not out of the question yet, but we do incur considerable overhead with each release so it is not a sure thing either.

Maybe start by taking the OOB 6.0 telerik off the DNN 5.6.2 page and replacing it with Telerik 5.6.3 so we can minimize the people using telerik 6

Yes, I am wondering why that package is still there myself.
