I'd like to test the new RC on a local copy of my website, but I haven't been able to find any instructions or tutorials on how to do so.  I copied the files from the Upgrade package on top of my site like I normally do for an upgrade, but that just leaves the old .vb files and adds the new .cs files.  What am I missing?

When the upgrade is run, the .vb files will be deleted automatically.

If the upgrade is not starting on its own, the web.config may specify (in the <appSettings> section) that the setting AutoUpgrade has been set to false (as it should be for a publicly hosted site). If so, you will need to trigger the upgrade by browsing to http://mylocalhostname/Install/Install.aspx?mode=upgrade.
