Hi,

I've updated DNN to 6 and then the core forum module to 5.00.03.

After this upgrade, it's impossible to post or edit something on the forum with Rich Text Editor.

Basic Text works fine.

Thanks,

Regards,

Similar problem here.
in the html/text module i cannot update the content with the editor., basic text box sems to work though (leaves me severely limited as html editor will not work as well)
i deleted the module from the page, installed new text/html module, and the same condition exists. this has been tested on IE 7 and 8, and occurs on two seperate sites.

For some reason the new DNN600 dotnetnuke.radeditor is not being installed as part of the upgrade.zip package.

I would suggest you download the install.zip package, unpack it and locate the RadEditorProvider_06.00.00_Install.zip file in the /install/providers folder - then upload and install this file on your system.

Once done - go to the Host Menu and select the new HTML Editor Manager - from there change the provider to DotNetNuke.RadEditor

Talk about a band aid for a REAL problem. WTF is this anyways? Release a major update and have it break simple things like the default HTML editor??? This is BS and needs to be fixed the right way!

Thanks for the work around Wes.
