I just upgraded from 6.0.0 to 6.0.1.  The only account that could login to one of my portals was the HOST.   The login screen allows goes to the account profile screen with the message "Please update your profile before continuing.".

Found in the ProfilePropertyDefinition table there was a required property that I add added many years ago and then deleted it.  Seem that when 6.0.1 checks for valid profiles, it no longer takes in to account whether or not the property is deleted.

You can fix it by modifying the ProfilePropertydefination table or by turning off the Require a Valid Profile at Login in the User Settings.

Thanks,
Greg Hart

Thanks for posting this!

I am running into a similar problem on my testupgrade-install of DNN (copy of our production site); profile must be filled in on logging in, but even after filling in all the required fields (marked with the red sidebar), it still won't let the test-user pass the profile form (though the filled in information DOES get saved to his profile when clicking the Update-button)..

This is, btw, with DNN version 6.0.2. Your tip might lead to the solution in my case as well, will check it tomorrow at work

And by now, I can confirm it. Had some fields in dbo.ProfilePropertyDefinition with 'Required' = True and 'Deleted' = True. Permanently deleting those from the table and clearing DNN's cache afterwards did the trick

So the bug G Hart submitted here is also relevant to DNN 6.0.2.
