I already had DDR Menu 2.01 installed from http://dnnddrmenu.codeplex.com/

When upgrading from 6.0 to 6.01,I got the error above.
Now, my menus do not work at all unless I revert to the default skin.  I then re-installed DDR Menu 2.01 and have the same problem of the admin menu appearing UNDER enabled menu items in IE7 or below.

Also, I can't see module content in IE7 unless I hover over the module and have edit permissions.  e.g. Public pages have module containers and titles WITHOUT any content visible.  When you login and have edit permissions, the content appears when you hover over the module.
This is using the MinimalExtropy container.

Well, updating my skin to XHTML Strict or Transitional instead of HTML4 seems to have fixed some of the issues, but the skin doesn't look at nice.

This can be updated at Host.. Host Settings... Host details... Fallback Skin Doctype

Spent all day making the skin look halfway decent.

I even got it to work beautifully as a table-less skin using Holy Grail.... unitil I tried it in IE.  Damnit Internet Explorer!

I have exactly the same error in upgrading from DNN 6.0.0 to 6.0.1.  I'm guessing this makes sense that its throwing the error if you have upgraded to 2.0.1 of DDR Menu (as I have).  My question is what implications does this have on the upgrade??  Does the error affect the install in any way?  Things seem to be working properly, but I'd like to find out from anyone if there is anything that needs to be done when an error like this is thrown.

Same situation for me.  I updated two 6.0.0 sites with DDR Menu 2.0.1 installed and I got the same error.  It totally blew out my menu.  I re-installed DDR Menu 2.0.1 and all was well.

I hope it was the correct solution.
