I've upgraded incrementally from dnn 4.9.5 to 5.1.4. My main site appears to work fine but my store is showing the following error message when I load it.

A critical error has occurred.
Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Data.SqlParameterAttribute' from assembly 'DotNetNuke, Version=5.1.4.3, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

I have no clue how to fix this or what is causing it.

  • The page loads
  • The menu bar loads with access to all of the menu items but only the Admin and Host items actually load full pages when a link is clicked in the menu
  • All other menus load a page with the modules appearing on them but the error shows up and there is no content in the modules.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can render.

Okay, I went back and reinstalled the original site and db. Everything worked fine. I then upgraded from DNN 4.9.5 to 5.4.4. The upgrade showed "success" on everything. Again the main site, www.cenerforusmissions.com, works fine. But, the Catalook store at store.centerforusmissions.com throws the same error:

Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Data.SqlParameterAttribute' from assembly 'DotNetNuke, Version=5.4.4.2, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

I'd greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this problem. I'd like to bring our site up to date with the most stable DNN possible.

Thanks.
Glenn
