Hi,

Created my first new child portal since upgrading to DNN 6.0.1 and I cannot change the Portal Skin from Dark Knight.

Oddly, changing the Portal Skin does change the Admin Skin, even though I did not change the settings for that.

Tried it in both my DNN installs just to make sure it wasn't an isolated case.

I'm pretty sure I had no problems with this in DNN 6.0.0.

Any ideas or is this a known bug?

TIA.

Just remembered that you can change skins from the Pages on the control panel and found that works. However, would be good to have the Admin > Site Settings route working as well.

With DNN 6+, the home page (and I believe one other) uses a different skin page. Meaning, in the Admin>Appearance section, because it's set to DarkKnight-RightMega, doesn't mean the Home page isn't using DarkKnight-LeftMega, for instance.

You can go page to page and make certain that the page settings have been set to "None Specified", this will ensure that the page skin will be drawn from the Admin>Appearance sections Portal Default.

HTH
