i am trying to upgrade dnn 5.6.3 multisite to version 6.1

i am doing this on my local dev pc

when i log in as an admin or host account the admin in the control panel is greyed out, this is the same for any portal

this has been the same with every version of dnn 6 released (6, 6.01, 6.02, 6.1 beta & 6.1)

i seen a post re the theme may be the issue so have tried changing to the theme that came with dnn.

checked the Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider log files - no errors

i have went through third party modules and have got the relevent version to work with dnn 6, just need the dnn core problem fixed.

what version on dnn is this going to be fixed in???

no i have never disabled the admin or host root menu or made any permission changes to any of the core admin/host pages.

a long time ago i tried the oliverhine version of the advanced control panel, but went back to the default control panel after an upgrade (no reason)

the admin menu appears in the normal dnn menu (default is SolpartMenu) just not the control panel menu. (this may just be from ver 6.1 as i cannot remember it from 6.1 beta or below)

i have another dnn install (single site with similar modules) that is on dnn 6 and the admin displays ok in the control panel
