Thanks Phil for the tip.

I used this code in sql server to find all the columns with a different collation.

select c.name, c.collation_name, o.name as tablename
from sys.Columns as c
inner join sys.Objects as o on o.Object_ID = c.object_id
where o.type='U' and not collation_name is null and not collation_name='SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS'

i created a script so all columns are set to the default db collation. The collation issue was blocking the upgrade.

Now i'm testing the site. My menu is gone but that's not a big problem.

Hi Stephany, glad you got it fixed. That looks like a quicker methoed that the one I suggested! D'oh.
