I have a couple site that were created with early DNN versions, one 2.x, one 3.x, that have been upgraded numerous times to 4.9.x. Neither have had a successful upgrade to 5.0.x+. Upgrades past 4.9 have meant near total loss of content.

Both now have nothing but standard modules; HTML, Announcements, FAQ, Links, Feedback. Others have been installed over the years but they have all been uninstalled. I need to get both to the most current DNN release, so I've created templates of both that of a cursory look have all the content.

The problem is these templates don't work. When I place them in the _default I can see them, but selecting them in initial installation causes an error about a template field empty, but doesn't tell which one. Installing from the site wizard just gives me a blank stare, no error, no nothing, just refreshed the screen and does nothing.
