When I upgraded from 6.1.4 to 6.1.5, I received this error concerning ie.browser -

Parser Error

Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1.

Source Error: 

Line 1: <browsers> Line 2: <browser id="IE5to9" parentID="IE"> Line 3: <identification>

Source File: /dotnetnuke/App_Browsers/ie.browser Line: 1

Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.5448; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.5456

I have downloaded the 6.1.5 upgrade files again and re-uploaded them but the error is still occurring. Any help on resolving this is greatly appreciated.

Try changing the .net framework version to 4.0 and see if that helps.

Thanks for the response. Updating to ASP.Net version 4 still results in the error.

Should I just go ahead and install the full version of 6.1.5 since the Upgrade version is not working?

most likely not all files have been replaced with the ones from the upgrade package. Please make sure to unblock the zip file (in file properties, first tab at the bottom) before extracting files. Please repeat replacing all files.
