Is there anyone out there that has done this successfully?

I could really use some advice and validation that this works, as I have had some real challenges with godaddy's updater (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/200/threadid/454852/scope/posts.aspx)

Id love to hit the DNN [critical update) button, but am afraid to.

Godaddy thinks im running 6.1.5 (because of an error on my side) when im actually running 5.6.4 so i can't use their internal rollback feature (and no shell access, and on a windows system to boot) 9-(.

So here are my questions:

  • Has anyone Upgraded to 6.x successfully, and from what version to what version?
  • Does the 'critical update' button work properly on godaddy installations? DNN was originally installed via their tool, and manually upgraded to 5.6.4 which is where I stand today. I did notice on the wiki (http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/releases/view/71896) that the upgrade path from 5.6.4 to 6.0.2 is acceptable, but is it any value to upgrade to 5.6.5. or 5.6.6? I don't want a repeat of the 5.6.3 issue since I have to ftp patches and rollbacks.
  • Can I upgrade from 5.6.4 to 6.1.5 or 6.2.0? The wiki is a bit outdated and 6.0.2 seems to be the last update.
