After upgrading from v5.6 to v6.2, I get the following error message when selecting any of the Host or Admin features:

An error has occurred.  I've not been able to find any other threads with this kind of error and would appreciate it if someone could direct me to one if it exists, or else point me in the direction of a solution.

I have found a solution from another user who posted his solution here. It's buried on the third page, but here's the relevant point:

The issue is that the LeftMenu files in the admin/skins folder have changed. I replaced the versions from 6.0.0 with the 5.6.2 versions and the original skin ascx file works now in 6.0.0. The registrations of the LEFTMENU in the new DarkKnight ascx and the old MinimumEntrophy skin are identical. 

It worked for me too. Since this solution post is nearly a year old, I wonder why DNN hasn't taken notice and fixed the ascx files.
