HI there

I have upgraded from 5.1.4 to 6.2 using the most recent DotNetNuke_Community_XX.XX.XX.UPGRADE.zip package/recommended process.  After overcoming some trustLevel / AppicationPool issues its great to see out intranet running inside the new 62.......

Unfortunately none of the accounts that are in place work any longer.  We can not even login as 'host' anymore.  I have clicked on Retrieve Password and entered all our user names but the system is not sending out emails......I assume the upgrade has dropped the existing accounts, or cant read them??

Help!!    I there a DB table I can go to to create a new top level account type.

please make sure, the machine key in web.config has not been altered by the upgrade process (which might have happened, if the connection to the database was down during upgrade). You may check existance of users in database tables users. to regain host access, follow this procedure: http://www.deutschnetnuke.de/tabid/183/Default.aspx

Hi Sebastian thank you that did work for me, the key had changed!    I can now see the host menu, excellent!
