Hi, i have just updated to dnn version 5.6.4 and now i have some problems with the telerik editor provider 5.6.3

  • i cant save code written in html mode,
  • on one site only, there is no way to access images, document or the other managers

What can i do to give my customers the most stable, reliable system so that they can edit their pages in daytime, while i am upgrading against version 6 (in nighttime :-)?

Is there an editor provider that WORKS! for all dnn versions?

Better is to go for the latest DNN 6.2 and for more upcoming ones. This is the best strategy to make life easier. Keep a note like checklist of things you need to do for every time you upgrade. That would make the process much simpler, based on your upgrade experiences.

Dont let the website get outdated and thereby difficult to manage.

It is most likely that DNN Community would fix most of the errors whenever encountered, as soon as possible especially for the latest versions.

Hi Sebastian, do you mean upgrading to the next version(s) solves these telerik editor problems?

Niels, I remember version 5.6.x/6.1.x, which suppressed all HTML code. if this applies to your version (I am not 100% sure, but it sounds like) upgrade to latest 5.6.x or 6.1.5 (or 6.2.1, available later this week) should solve it.
