Admin File Manager is hosed after this upgrade, but the host file manager is not. Visual Studio tries to debug: An unhandled exception of type 'System.StackOverflowException' occurred in System.Drawing.dll.  I performed an upgrade on 3 different DNN apps and got the same result for each.

this sounds strange - did there happen any issues during the upgrade process?

Cheers from Germany,

None whatsoever with any of the 3 upgrades (2 local and one remote).

It can't be machine specific because it also occurred on an external server, plus after rolling back to the previous version the admin file manager works correctly. Hard to believe that no one else is experiencing this.

Here are the errors displaying in the event logs on both the localhost and the remote server. Interesting to note that the DNN Log Viewer displays nothing.

Both errors show up as soon as admin file manager is accessed:

Application: w3wp.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to stack overflow.

Faulting application w3wp.exe, version 7.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e023cf, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18541, time stamp 0x4ec3e39f, exception code 0xc00000fd, fault offset 0x0004e45c, process id 0x%9, application start time 0x%10.

This does not happen with the host file manager.

Hi Larry,
Sorry you are having this problem with your site. It would be helpful if you can share a little more about your configuration. Are you just using standard folder types? Do you have any third-party folder providers installed?

What you are experiencing doesn't appear to be very common, but we would like to get an understanding of what is causing this problem on your site.

Thanks,
Will
