Somewhere along the upgrade path, at least at 6.2, the aliases that were part of 4.9.0 ceased being accessible.
That was one thing I did not check along the way, assuming it would just work. :) Well ...
I rechecked the current 4.9.0 production site, sure enough they work. On the dev site, they're set up just like in production, that is:
Live: http://vis.iss-i.com/demo
Dev is tied to a live IP so that it can be tested outside the server, so it is: http://209.213.120.46/demo
Other than the upgrade, the website files and database are identical. I get the IIS 404 Error. The path is correct in the detailed section of the IIS error.
Clearly, it's just path issue and I'm not seeing where the trip up is.
