Hi All,

 

I seem unable to upgrade my site. I take it offline, upload the extracted files from the latest upgrade and when i goto

manually fire the upgrade via /install/install.aspx?mode=upgrade I'm getting an error message

XML Parsing Error: no element found

Line Number 1, Column 1:

could someone point me in the right direction please??!!

It might be related to this:

The solution at the bottom was to use:
install/install.aspx?mode=installresources

Your site appears up now - has it upgraded?

Hi Scott,

 

No it hasn't updated. I had to clean up and pull up a back up of my site.

 I'm now able to get the update to fire however the telerik controls keep bugging during the update and gives me an error message and then I get an error page. I've temporarily taken my site down until I get this resolved.

 

Any ideas how to resolve the telerik issue? Am I trying to jump too far from 1.1 to current?

 

I wish I could include some screen shots in this post.

Alright for anyone else who hits this snag, I followed Wills advice however I had to track down the telerik dll from the full install pkg of my current website version, copied it to my bin folder and everything finally worked.
