Hi,

I keep getting the green message at the top of my website telling me that there's an upgrade to my current 6.2.4 version. Can I upgrade to 7.0 even though my database is SQL 2005? I thought I read somewhere that 7.0 was geared toward sql 2008.

Thanks

No, DNN 7 requires MS SQL 2008 or 2012 as well as application pool running ASP.Net 4.0 or 4.5 in integrated pipeline mode. Apparently the upgrade service does not check configuration capability when showing the upgrade available indicator.
