Hi, does anyone know why there are two edit toolbars for every module when in Edit Mode in DNN version 7.0,4? There is an extra toolbar for every module, which appears in the bottom right of the screen and causes the overall window space inside the browser width to double (you have to scroll all the way to the right to see the duplicate toolbars) They function interchangeably with the original toolbars. But I see no reason for them to exist. Anyone know why they are there and whether they can be gotten rid of.?

Thanks

Tom

Hi again. I wanted to bump this question up and see again if anyone has any insight. Already explained in my earlier post.

In my test upgrade of DNN 7.0.4, when in Edit mode, I'm getting two toolbars on the page for every module. The second toolbar(s) are about a page width to the right of the module, and results in the page width being twice what it should be. The toolbars work interchangeably with the original toolbar.

Any insight on this? Anyone else see it?

 Thanks,

Tom

this sounds like a skin issue, please check on a page with default skin and container assigned.

Thanks ... upon inspection I'm seeing that it's caused by a google search box which I have on my skin(s). (When I comment out the google search bar, the second toolbar goes away).
I'm not sure yet why having this search box causes an second toolbar (in addition to the normal one) to be added to the page every time a new module is added.

Let me know if you have any clues.. I will look into figuring this out.

thanks again

Tom

maybe the search box is using a reserved DNN class name or ID, which is used to identify the DOM element to apply the toolbar.
