Hi all

Since my upgrade to DNN 7.01 I have had a number of issues and now I am at the point where I can not even use my site efficiently.

The CSS in the Admin Section is broken and now the icons just go down the page in a single column.

I cannot get the hover menu for the Modules & Pages button when logged in as Admin (using RibbonBar).  I also cannot do things like click on the Edit button for a user to edit their details.  I just get presented with a blank window.

My jQuery Slider on the Homepage also does not work anymore.

Have a look at the screenshot here (this is when I use the RibbonBar Menu):

I have also tried the ControlBar menu but I am unable to click on the "Edit This Page" button.

When I click to edit a user I get the below issue:

I would appreciate any help I could get here at this is really making life difficult.  I suspect its something to do with jQuery versions (of which I have tried almost all of them) and some issue in my CSS for my skins.

Here are my current settings for jQuery:

DNN 7 uses different default.css and updated version of JQuery. please make sure in Host Settings, not to use a previous version of JQuery or JQueryUI. In site settings you may switch to default skin and container to get your site back working, before concentrating on fixing your site skin.

Hey Sebastian

Thanks for that, I actually worked it out and it happened to be an issue with the banner ads that we were serving in the header of the page.  For some reason, this seems to throw all the jQuery out and make the site not function correct.

Is there some way that I can get around this?  Can I maybe force the jQuery to load / initalize at the end of the page lifecycle (or when the DOM is loaded)

It sounds like the ads do something that conflicts with jQuery, or with the version of jQuery that DNN requires.

I'd look at fixing the banner ads.

I'm having exactly the problems after upgrading. Changed to hosted JQuery 1.9.1 in the database as I cant do anything through the site - no joy. Can I reset the skin to the default via the database? If so where? Thxs
