I have upgraded from DNN 6.2.7 TO DNN 7.1.2. The actual skins load but the site is slow. The CSS files do not seem to pick and the fonts etc are basic. Any idea how this can be sorted? Thanks!

There was 2 Major changes on DNN 7.0.0 and 7.1.0 that need a rework of the Skin to be compatible with DNN. DNN 7.0.0 Comes with a new cleaned and complete new created Default.css file, so it can be possible you have to add some mor style classes to your Stylesheet.

On DNN 7.1.0 we have modified code to reflect the changes to new jQuery 1.9.1 and jQueryUI 1.10.3 library that was delivered with DNN. This means you have to modified any JavaScript to reflect the changes on jQuery and jQueryUI code on your Skin. You find the changes on the jQuery.org page.

Hello Matthias,

is there a link to find what kind of modifications I need to perform in order to make those skins working? I haven't found anything yet.

There are some Points.

Basicly a Skin should not load own provided JQuery and jQueryUI librarys, and should load those from the host Settings.
Javascript have to be modified to the Need of the new Versions. http://jqueryui.com/upgrade-guide/1.9/ and http://jquery.com/upgrade-guide/1.9/

Also it can be that you have to add some new stylesheet controls to your skin Stylesheet to consider to the Default.css changes Comes with DNN 7.0. 

About all thise tasks are different on all Skins you have to find out it by self.
