Hi Team,

When I helped my client to upgrade their site to DNN 7.0.5, the settings button is missing for the banners module on the action menu.

May I know if you can help?

This happened because of changes in security. The edit is only accessible to Administrators.

I have posted this as a bug in Gemini - https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/brow...

You can temporarily complete a fix by editing the vendor module per this thread - http://www.dnnsoftware.com/forums/for....

However, be careful. You are editing a core file. So make a backup before you edit it. Also, it will be overwritten in the next upgrade.

Please go to Gemini and vote for this functionality to be restored. The change in Admin level rights affects other modules as well. For example, you can't assign user management to a non-admin. If you have a client who is large enough to have several staff, you can't assign different management rights (manage users, vendors, etc) to different people without giving them complete Admin rights. Of course, then they could delete pages, modules, move stuff around!!!

It could be a small client as well, but still someone you don't give complete rights to their site.
