Unfortunately, it seems DNN Corp seem to get more wrong than not nowadays. They tell us that they have these fantastic systems for testing the releases but I don't see much evidence myself. This Module Creator error is such a basic simple thing to think through I find it incredible that we're having issues like these so often. In fact I don;t think it even a good advert for upgrading to EVOQ. If we have these many issues with the Open Source version I'm certainly NEVER going to hand over gazillions of dollars for their other products am I?

I just removed the old module creator and re-upgraded. Haven't had a problem since.

Don't take ANYTHING for granted with DNN. Backup & then Backup again BEFORE doing ANYTHING with upgrades.

I think I see some of the same evidence you are referring to, but I do not agree with your overall conclusion. I've been doing DNN since 2005 and the last 2 or so years have been amazing. The quality of the new features, the support, bug fixes, community involvement, etc. - have all been great, often bordering on fantastic. I openly fear that DNN will eventually end up like Telligent/Community Server, but so far the signs of that apocalypse are thankfully slight.

I had similar problem.

I was trying to Upgrade form 7.1.2 to 7.2.2 it did not Upgrade at all.

Then I Upgrade form 7.1.2 >>  7.2.1 and it worked.

I guess you can't just few upgrades.

Thanks
