I have a number of DNN websites hosted on Microsoft Azure - I recently tried unsuccessfully to upgrade one site to DNN 7.3.0

In order to put the website back online I have restored the database and files from a backup and now I get the following error:

[SqlException (0x80131904): Procedure or function 'UpdateServerActivity' expects parameter '@PingFailureCount', which was not supplied.] System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection. it looks like you didn't restore the database properly, it still has new stored procedure installed.

If I were you I would not try that.

If you get past this one, you will surely only hit the next one, and the next one... probably forever. You will never know if you have it 'correct' and it may cause all kinds of hell on some future upgrade.

Fix the problem that means you ended up with mismatched restores. It will be safer in the long term.

Best wishes,
