Hello,

I just upgraded a site to the latest DNN, and the host account somehow lost it's access to the admin and host pages, and when I'm logged in and browsing the site, no edit control nor the admin bar is visible. When I try to access an admin or host page, I just get Access Denied control displaying  Host/HostSettings/tabid/16/ctl/Access Denied/portalid/0/Default.aspx?message=U+heeft+geen+toegang+om+deze+pagina+te+bekijken.

Has anyone encountered this before?

Edit: In the Event Log, I can see this message:

the exception suggests that the site has not upgraded i.e. it's running an older version of dotnetnuke.dll. Please ensure that the upgrade is finished i.e. install.aspx?mode=upgrade (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/...), it might also be worth copying over the upgrade files again (ensure you right click the zip and go to properties and ensure the file is unblocked)

Hi Cathal. Thanks for the response. I always make sure I unblock the zip file, I have the upgrade packages prepared for site upgrades. Also the upgrade process did not indicate that anything went wrong. Everything was green, success on all lines, log files are empty, meaning I assume no errors. If it gave some kind of error during the upgrade process, I'd understand.

As I stated in my previous post, no error whatsoever. Nothing in the logs, and every step of the upgrade process was successful.
