I upgraded from 7.04 to 8.0 and now I'm getting strange issues in the UI.  It seems to be relegated only to the back end as all of the pages displayed normally to users are fine.  It's acting like there's some kind of CSS issue or something because words will be shifted all over the page, overlapping, and displaying in colors barely visible.  Button icons  also seem to be missing entirely.  There are also some issues with some modules like ContentSlider, but it seems to be a product of the other problems.  I'll add some screenshots here to show what's going on:

The Login Screen

Theme Screen

Here's the error that comes up when I try to add a slide to content slider.

Stuff like this is happening in the entire back end of the site on virtually every page.  Some of them are pretty much unusable.  I also haven't' been able to properly use a couple of other modules.  Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? Thank you in advance for reading.

I would try changing the Skin applied to any of the Admin/Child pages, as well as the "EDIT" skin.

Sounds like you're using a skin that doesn't work with DNN8

I'm having a hard time actually changing the theme because it seems to be one of the pages most messed up in the process. I've been using Gravity though from the start. I've tried replacing the entire skins directory with versions from both the 8.0 files and the 7.04.02 files and it turns out the same each time. When I select a different theme it just simply doesn't change anything. I'm not sure what's happening here.

I just upgraded as well. The old 7 gravity home page is now all weird with layout. the old events calendar no longer works as says cannot find dnnComboBox tag. So it would seem 8 has a way to go before it becomes stable. Or all the old stuff is now useless and have to start from scratch it would seem.

DNN 8 has a breaking changes, many skins created for DNN 4, 5 and even 6 will not continue to work without modifications. Same applies to modules. A couple of former core modules have already released updates. Be aware that SiteLog, Banners and Newsletters have been separated from the core and need to be installed separately.
