Hi,

I have upgrade the DNN 7 to 8 using replacing files (Still, I do have backup of old version 7, i dont want to restore... because i m not sure about process)


After i upgrade it run upgrade progessbar for few hours... and now after 24 hours i can't login to login page... because login section/page is completely missing...

 

 

Can you please help me?

It seems upgrade didn't complete properly. Usually it takes just few minutes to upgrade not hours. You can restart upgrade process. But you have to restore DB backup and filesystem to initiate again as DB gets affected in upgrade process. Also check for folder permissions like network service, IUSR full control.

also please let me know how to restart deployment and how to reset database ? I don't have database back now
