Hi

At the weekend I upgraded my 8.2 instance to 8.4 ready for v9xx.
I now have no functionality in my control bar and can't get any of the dropdowns (Tools->Upload File->Clear Cache) to work.
I get there error 'toggleModulePane is not a function'.
In the site as well I appear to have lost popup functionality and none of these work.
Here I get the error 'p.dialog is not a function'.
Has anybody encountered this before ?
I could really do with a pointer here as this is a production site and half of the functionality has gone.

Most likely, there is a javascript error on your page that results in this behavior.

Use the browser developer tools to see what it's saying.

Most likely, this is related to your skin and how it handles javascript/jquery.

You should be able to navigate to an admin page like yoursite.com/Admin/Pages.aspx. There you can create a new page and apply one of the standard DNN skins to it. From that page, you might be able to get to other admin and host pages to figure out at least part of the problem. If a standard dnn skin on a new page works, you'll at least know that the problem is your skin. By comparing what is loaded, you might be able to see what is wrong.

And, hopefully others will remember and remind us what this problem is.

Willing to bet this is a Newton Json dll version issue.  Typically the damned Persona Bar does not work right if the Json library is not the right version.  The upgrades almost every time give me dll grief.  Check your version in the web.config and in the bin folder with what that version actually uses.  Also Use Inspect in the browser and looks at the Console section for errors too.
