The Page Manager does not appear to have host or admin pages.
this has multiple sites on 1  instance and it is most likely that I forgot to do this on this one site in v7.
Can we show/edit host pages in dnn 9 or do I need to revert to dnn 7 to fix this? I am logged in as host user.
Does 40 fingers work with dnn 9? I used that for several things.

 

 

The new control panel (persona bar) is a complete rewrite and is not based on pages any more (at least most of it isn't).
One of the exceptions is the Assets Manager, that si still using the old module.
If you get an error, the might be caused by IIS NTFS rights on folder or a database inconsistency of the folders table.
You are right tat in some upgrade secnarios in DNN 7, the asset manager was not on the page and you had to place it manually, but the results in an empty page, not an error. So I think it's another issue.

Our latest Style Helper does work with DNN 9 BTW, so you might need to upgrade it.

Finally got FileManager to have an empty page. I can not add DAM module to page.

Can not add any module to any page. However did notice that jquery is somehow loading 2.1.4 from google. I removed the setting use custom cdn from interface. Restart IIS, website, application pool, restart application, clear cache ...

Nothing helps. Still uses old jquery. This is using new Xcillion skin/container that I have not modified. There are other things/menus that don't work but seems logical to fix jquery first. Jquery table has correct entries. Even using browser F12 mode, I can not figure out where or how it is loading 2.1.4 rather than 3?

How can I edit this PageHeaderProvider?

Just because you delete the Custom CDN on jquery library page, restart everything, and the CDN text box is blank, does not mean it wrote that to db.
The table HostSettings | CustomCDN_jQuery settingvalue still had //ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.4/jquery.min.js
Deleted that and jquery 3.1 loads and the drag/drop for modules work. Can add DAM to Filemanager page.
In HostSettings what should I have here:
jQueryUIUrl = //ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.9.2/jquery-ui.min.js ???
jQueryUrl = //ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js ???
BTW, is does write some settings, see yesterday's date
Note sure why it didn't write CustomCDN_jQuery

FYI if anyone else if having error with pageskin ...

As I said, changing to Xcillion fixed some problems.
However, as soon as I updated my 40 fingers skin object to 40F DNN StyleHelper 02.12.00,  my theme started to work properly. Mine was dated 2015, seriously who checks for updates? (I thought Timo sat around and drank coffee for last 4 years!)
This is a great module if you want to add FB and twitter constants, Google Analytics, add/remove style sheets, etc. Did I mention that it is free? https://www.40fingers.net/Products/DN...
