Hello,

My team and I are about 95 percent done upgrading from dnn7 to dnn9. We have a couple of services in the Evoq Layer that were run by an automic job using basic auth to authorize the dnn user using  [DnnAuthorize(StaticRoles=Role)] to validate the role and allow the request to be completed. In dnn9 it appears security has been changed and we can no longer use basic auth. I've tried using [AllowAnonymous] which works for my Get request but I also have a Post which is not getting through. It throws a 500 error when [AllowAnonymous] is present on my Post and a 401 when I try to use DnnAuthorize as we had before. Debugging the code, I am getting the 401 before the service is even hit. I've tried turning on the BasicAuth message handler in the web config which did remedy this issue but completely broke user search and would return 500 errors whenever from api/personabar/Users/GetUsers . Is there a way I can bypass this and allow basic auth for this service? Any input would be greatly appreciated
