I am using the 4.8 version of DNN and in my application I have a module that has significant custom javascript for data validation and other custom dynamic client behavior.

I have  a user control that needs to use ajax for callback functionality.

If I enable "Partial rendering" for the module then my original javascript for custom dynamic client behavior starts to misbehave.

How do I separate the two categories of javascript so I get client side javascript behavior and client callback in the same module.

How do I get only the user control that needs Ajax wrapped in an a update panel and a script manager to NOT manage my existing custom javascript.

suggestions appreciated.
