I am hoping to resolve this issue for future development:

I have a Text/HTML module on a page in a dnn portal 4.08.  In this module I have written <div id="myDiv">Hide Me</div>.

In the header for the page I have added (via page settings)  <script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript" src="/timeClock.js"></script>

Within the timeClock.js I have the following code myDiv').style.visibility = 'hidden';}Thanks

var startVar = myFun();
function myFun(){document.getElementById('

If you had not guessed, the words "Hide Me" are not hidden on load of the page.  I can put an alert in myFun and the alert is seen.  Why can I not reference this document element in this way?

did you verify in rendered page source code that your style is properly included and using a developer toolbar (i.e. pressing F12 in IE8 or using Firebug in FF) to verify it gets applied?

I have verified that in the rendered page that the style is not applied and suspect that this is due to improper reference. In fact: This is the essence of the original question.

Cheers from Baltimore USA.
Have a respectable stout.
I just tapped my own brew of one..
