I'm still working my way through tutorials/books trying to learn how to develop modules.  I've made some progress, but nothing impressive.

I have created a database with 2 tables with primary keys/foreign keys and am at the point where I need to create the Sql scripts that initially create the tables after login under HOST > SQL.

In SSMS I was able to automatically create some Sql scripts.  I researched this process and read some articles on various sites and it seems that the Sql scripts need to be tweaked some in order to function correctly in DNN.  However, after trying numerous tweaks to the sql statements,  I still can't seem to get it to work.  My background in Sql is not strong.  Could someone advise me on the best way to go about this process or point me to a resource that walks through the steps?

Any insight is appreciated.

Regards,

Clint

you may create the base for your sql scripts in SSMS, but you should add some stability options - always delete stored procedures and recreate, test for existance of a column before adding it etc. allowing scripts to be rerun. Core scripts are the best tutorials for this task.
