Hello,

I am just starting working with DNN so sorry for lame question. I am fixing somebody else code and I have this method:

DotNetNuke.Framework.Reflection.CreateType

from usage I have only vague clue what it does, so I would be grateful for posting a link to a doc describing this method (

Thank you in advance (I used google, but the name of the method too often shows up in error logs ;-) ).

Kind regards,

it's just a wrapper around the normal .net reflection classes - it add's some additional caching so commonly used types (such as classes for database) are more efficent. Under the cover it's mostly using buildmanager.getype http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/a0z5yws8.aspx and activator.createinstance http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.activator.createinstance.aspx
