I am just getting started using DotNetNuke and had a question about moving modules between environments. I am working on a site with a couple of other developers. Each of us is working with a local dnn site. There is one development environment where we combine our finished items.

If I install a module locally and make configuration changes on that module is there a way to move that module to our group development environment without installing the module and manually making the configuration changes there as well? I also need to avoid database backups/restores so we don't overwrite each others changes.

meta data of each module definition is stored in the database and the only option for transferring it to a different server is create package and install on the target system.
