Hi there good DNN people

I want to create some custom aspx pages to run alongside the DNN CMS - but i dont want the hassle of turning them in to  modules. The only bit of DNN i need is to check the details of the the logged in user - I can do this simply by calling UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo() . This works fine if my page (mypage.aspx) is in the root directory - UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo()  is populated with the logged in user details. However if I then move the page out of the root  ( myfolder / mypage.aspx) the page no longer picks up the current user info which is empty.  Does any one know a way round this - I dont want to have to put loads of pages in the root folder ?

thanks
John

sorry, but I'd really suggest converting your aspx into modules, in DNN 5.4. and above you may simply use the dynamic approach, go to Host :: module definitions, select "create new module from control and add your content as an ascx module control
