DotNetNuke instance of 04.08.02 with 400+ child portals.

I have an asp.net web application that is built by another program. I would like to place that application in an iframe in dotnetnuke to leverage the role based security. I need to prevent the application from being open without being in the iframe within the dotnetnuke portal. I do not have the luxury of recompile so my thought was to add javascript to check the existence of valid dnn authentication cookie and terminate page if it does not exist.

Are there examples of code or articles that can help me achieve this? I have been searching this site and googling without good leads.

Thank You

You could just javascript to check if the page is loaded in an IFrame, and perhaps even check the domain of that iframe to make sure it is part of the DNN site.

I would also highly encourage you to upgrade off of DotNetNuke 4.8.2, that is likely the most insecure of all versions of DNN.
