I am not sure if this is the right place in the forums to place but I didn't know where else to place my question.

Is it possible to have a filter on a page to filter modules to load based on criteria specified? For instance, if we want to place a "Featured" setting on our custom modules and then on the page users can filter with a drop-down list to only show (load) the modules that were marked as featured? And if possible how would we do that?

Hi

You can use TabModules table to show all available modules on page basis in your 'Featured' module . After that you can manage loading of modules by giving view permission to any user role/ group. for example 'Registered user' group.

Hi Lori,

TabModules is a table of dotnetnuke database where you can find list of records with tabid (dnn pages) and moduleid (modules).  From which you can fetch records by joining other necessary tables and bind in your custom module interface.
