Hello,

I am trying to develop a module in DNN7 but I really can not find any clear simple tutorial on how to Select a statement, insert, update, delete to SQL database. using DAL 2 or any other method.

Thanks, for your replay. but I really want to find a very simple example of how to retrieve data from Sql database, insert, update. I read your post but it's not a complete example I need clear one.

Hi,

You can write the script for select/update/insert statement in the 01.00.00.SqlDataProvider file and then you need to write those methods for stored procedures in three files viz. DataProvider.cs, Controller.cs and SqlDataProvider.cs.
After that you can use those query in your code file.
