1) Why do you create the table only if it does not exist? Where is the guarantee that it is the correct version of the table etc.? I would first check if it exists, if yes delete it and then create it.

oops, I fear this is not the proper idea - you might loose data. Tables need to be handled differently than views and code.

Check for fields, indexes and constraints individually. Indexes and constraints may be deleted and rebuilt w/o affecting data, however, before adding constraints, make sure, the data meets the new rule.

Sorry, may be I misunderstood something - or I was misunderstood as well. To be more clear: In the first script (for version 01.00.00 or whatever), I would look for the table and delete it, and I would assume that there is something in the table name that only me is using (company name or whatever). In all other SqlProvider scripts I would only write scripts for the changes.

Best wishes
Michael

Mike, "WITH (PAD_INDEX = OFF, STATISTICS_NORECOMPUTE = OFF, IGNORE_DUP_KEY = OFF, ALLOW_ROW_LOCKS = ON, ALLOW_PAGE_LOCKS = ON) ON [PRIMARY]

I would even consider to remove the whole thing...

Best wishes
Michael

LOL...

no, with removing the whole thing I meant

"WITH (PAD_INDEX = OFF, STATISTICS_NORECOMPUTE = OFF, IGNORE_DUP_KEY = OFF, ALLOW_ROW_LOCKS = ON, ALLOW_PAGE_LOCKS = ON) ON [PRIMARY]"

Best wishes
Michael
