Hello,

I am trying to use the Telerik editor within a DNN module. I have the following entry in the edit.ascx file:

    <dnn:DnnEditor

 ID="DNNEDITCONTROL" runat="server" ClientIDMode="Static" OnClientLoad="editorLoaded">

    </dnn:DnnEditor>

The editor displays ok but many of the toolbar options don't work indicating that a web.config entry is missing.

The editor works fine with the standard HTML module and I can see the DotNetNuke.RadEditorProvider entry is present in the web.config and that the providerPath directory "~/DesktopModules/Admin/RadEditorProvider" exists.

I assume that I need a setting in the editor to point to the web.config entry. I just can't figure out what that is exactly.

I've been googling around for ages, just hoping someone might know.

Best Regards,

Steve

usually you should be able to simply implement dnnEditor control, like in HTML module. you may check out source code of the module, which is included in DNN core framework package.

Hello Sebastian,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes I thought it would pick up the web.config settings automatically.

Will check the source code as you suggest.

Best Regards,

Steve
