Hello all,

I am writing a module that creates portals. It is very much based on the default code in DNN, I have just moved it to a wizard control and added a few other controls.

I have a page that asks the user to confirm the information that they have entered.  I want to display the selected skin's name, the name displayed in the DDC when the user selects a skin.

I have used the standard skin control and called it siteSkin. I am displaying siteSkin.SkinSrc for the user to see their selected skin but this displays a full "path" which is not really great for people that are not quite computer literate.  How would I display the selected skins name instead of the path displayed by .SkinSrc?

Thank you.

There may be a method to get the value within DNN, but an easy way of doing this would be to parse the information yourself.  You know that the last folder and the name of the.ascx file make up the name of the skin, so you can parse out those parts, and use them for display.
