Hello,

I am using DNN 5.1 version, developing one custom module which includes COM component to use into that module.

I am using Microsoft.Office.Interop.PowerPoint library and Microsft library for applying background image to slides/changing background of slides(PPT files). The background is applied to slides When there is background Image file less than 30KB but if i upload image file greater than 30KB getting an error as "Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component."

Same code works fine in Non-DNN enviornment

Can anybody tell me about this ?

Thanks

Kishan

My guess is that you are calling something that isn't working correctly within the IIS environment.

This post talks about a similar issue.

Hello Mitch,

Thanks for your qucik and positive reply,

We tested that application into Non - DNN envornment and it works fine, there is no need to do any IIS settings for this.

We have following details of development environment,
