Hi All,

I have a custom module which uses the MS ReportViewer to render PDFs.

Running locally the report renders fine however from the server the report renders then goes away.  As if it's being blocked by a pop-up blocker.  I've tried to run the report while logged in to the server as well and the results are the same.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jango

Can you explain in a little more detail?  When you say the report "goes away", do you mean a window closes?  Is there a file saved to the file system (or should there be)?  Etc.  It's probably rooted in permissions on the server vs. your local environment, but it would be helpful to know exactly what you are seeing.

thats very odd - The report control won't work if youre in medium trust and using local mode, but that would effect all browsers, not just one (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Foru...) . There are 1 or 2 reports of IE8 related issues, but they all focus on missing columns/viewing pages not resizing - it might be worth trying some of the suggestions @ http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Foru... to see if any of them work.
