Hi everyone, I follow the code from CodeProject : Creating a DotnetNuke Module with Custom permission (http://www.codeproject.com/KB/aspnet/dnn_custom_permissions.aspx?display=Print) The only thing I do different is that I do not add a button click, in ViewModuleName.ascx.cs Page_load method, I put the code:

if (!Page.IsPostBack)

{

PermissionTestController cntrl = new PermissionTestController();
cntrl.UpgradeModule("01.00.00");

}
After that, in my other UserControl ascx.cs file, I want to check if this user has certain permission by:
ModuleSecurity ms = new ModuleSecurity(ModuleConfiguration);
lbtnAdd.Enable = ms.CanAddRole;

But even in Admin mode, my code not allow me to access linkbutton 'lbtnAdd'

What am I doing wrong here? Please give a hint, thanks
